Centre half Mark Beevers could be set for a return to first team action in the game this weekend against Barnsley.

The defender has been out of action with a calf injury since February 1st and he has been named in manager Ian Holloway’s travelling squad.

Fellow defender Shane Lowry also returns to contention following his four game suspension, so there are options for the gaffer now.

New signing Federico Bessone is also in the 22 man squad and could be in line for his club debut.

In remaining injury news, physio Bobby Bacic has confirmed that we did take a few knocks in the Bolton game, but in general the signs are very good indeed, although Nicky Bailey is set to remain on the sidelines for a while longer and he is the only real omission ahead of this weekend.

The player is set to undergo CT guided injections into his lower back shortly and his training is limited to swimming given the pain it is causing. Following the surgery his expected return will be some point in April depending on how things go.
