Millwall secured a win over Barnet in the League Cup on Tuesday.
After seeing off some early Barnet pressure it was a Bees player who put Millwall into the lead when John Akinde put through his own goal from a Joe Martin freekick midway through the first half. Before half time the second came when Aiden O’Brien fired home from 20-yards.
Jordan Archer kept Barnet out in the second half before Steve Morison made absolutely certain of the Millwall win when he headed in a David Worrall corner 15-minutes from time with. Fred Onyedinma, having been fouled himself, stepped up to convert a penalty on 81-minutes to round off the win.
