Assistant manager David Livermore took on press duties following victory over Oxford United today, and for him Millwall more than proved they were more than just ‘a long ball team’.
Travelling to the Kassam Stadium for today’s League 1 action, Oxford manager Michael Appleton had sent criticism Millwall’s way over their style of play, and with a two one victory courtesy of goals from Steve Morison and Aiden O’Brien, Livermore believed the side had more than proved that particular criticism wrong.
