Manager Neil Harris has reflected on victory over Sheffield United earlier today and spoke of his delight at Millwall’s momentum.
Hosting Nigel Adkins’ fellow promotion hopefuls at The Den for the game, a very early returning Chris Taylor strike on the second minute was enough to separate the sides at full time as a the defensive display saw Millwall keep a clean sheet, and it was all about the positives for Chopper as he spoke to the media in his after game interviews.
The victory and three points keep Millwall in fifth place in the League One table, inside the Play Off spots, with a now four point gap building on those below the side in the promotion battle.
Whilst Burton’s spot in the table is most likely out of reach, Wigan are only six points away so a late automatic push might not be off the cards if a proper run of wins can be got on.
