Manager Neil Harris has spoken of his delight at an ‘excellent’ second half performance from Millwall in today’s victory over Shrewsbury Town.
Hosting Micky Mellon’s side at The Den for the game, goals from Ben Thompson, Steve Morison and a late Lee Gregory penalty gave Millwall the comfortable three one victory, and the delight for Harris was in losing the opening goal so early on and seeing the reaction of the players to draw themselves level and then take the lead to secure all three points in such a fashion.
Speaking to the media in his after game press interviews, a delighted manager credited the response and the approach taken by the players in the second 45 minutes of the match to tie up another win this season.
