Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Jordan Archer has moved to Millwall tonight on a loan deal until the end of the season.

The 21 year old stopper becomes manager Ian Holloway’s eighth signing of January, and he follows quickly in the foot steps of midfielder Michael Tonge.

Archer has come through Spurs youth academy, and had previous loan spells out with Wycombe Wanderers, and more recently Northampton Town where he made 16 appearances earlier this campaign.

He’s already a Scotland under 21 international and he played for us in the recent behind closed doors friendly against Queens Park Rangers as our coaching staff ran their eyes over him.

He comes in as competition for the No 1 spot alongside David Forde.
