Millwall are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week’s action.
The performance by Jordan Archer in the three nil victory over Peterborough United at the weekend at The Den was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.
I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Archer was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.
‘Millwall’s good form continued as they climbed to fifth in Sky Bet League 1, with Jordan Archer’s clean sheet contributing to a 3-0 win over Peterborough United. Posh are known for being prolific scorers, but Archer’s best save of the match came as a result of a wild back pass from Mark Beevers – this is a must-see!’
It’s always good to see us represented in this way, and well played to Archer for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the three points.
