Millwall have revealed that former Blackpool midfielder Angel Martinez is due to arrive in England from Spain on Tuesday morning to discuss a possible deal.
Manager Ian Holloway knows the 28 year old well having given him his Championship debut when they were both at Bloomfield Road.
He came through RCD Espanyol’s youth system and joined Blackpool back in 2011, leaving them this summer when he declined a new deal.
In total he made 56 appearances for them, scoring once.
Following his departure from the club, he returned to Spain and has been training with former club Girona to maintain his fitness levels.
Have to see what happens tomorrow.
