Midfielder Jimmy Abdou has now signed on for 2015-16 in League One and put pen to paper on a new two year deal at The Den.
Our 2014-15 Player of Year signed on earlier this afternoon for another two years and will now remain with us until at least the summer of 2017.
Abdou is one of a small band of players to take the Player of the Year Award twice during his time at the club, and he made 37 appearances, scoring once in our disappointing last term.
Having joined us in the summer of 2008 under Kenny Jackett, the 30 year old has gone on to make a total of 284 appearances for the club, scoring seven times in total.
