On Saturday Millwall confirmed that Jimmy Abdou had made the move to AFC Wimbledon for a loan spell.
The 33 year old midfielder recently signed a new 12 month extension to his deal at The Den, but manager Neil Harris appreciates that when it comes to first team opportunities he will have more chances at Kingsmeadow under former player Neal Ardley.
Abdou will link up with Ardley and legend Paul Robinson once again and he’ll be hoping to work his way into their plans for the League One kick off against Scunthorpe United at Glanford Park.
Abdou heads out for the whole season but we no doubt have a recall option if required come January.
