Millwall have only 15 points left to play for in this year’s battle in League One.
With the games dwindling down now at the real business end of the campaign as Millwall find themselves heading towards the end of May, there are five games remaining in the campaign as we continue to push for the League One Play Off Spots and automatic promotion back to the Championship via the Wembley route.
Continuing to sit in seventh place, we are now tied on 66 points a piece with Southend United who occupy the final Play Off spot, so now that the gap has been closed, the aim is to now replace them, then Scunthorpe United and at least Bradford City in the remaining games to really go into the Play Offs in good winning form.
With back to back victories now behind us, that certainly will be the aim but Gillingham this weekend will be a particular test in that battle.
